How to Work Smarter, Grow Your Business, and Increase Your Impact

Have you ever tried to build a business that has a positive impact on the world?  Have you wondered if it is even possible to make a business both profitable AND purpose driven?  Have you started to question whether or not you have what it takes, or if what you are doing even matters

Trust me, I’ve been there, and like you, I believe a business should be both profitable and make an impact. Building a social enterprise or purpose driven business is HARD work.  But it’s also some of the most rewarding (personally and professionally) and most needed in the marketplace.   It is possible to build a profitable and purpose driven business.  What you are doing matters.

Hi everyone!  Jillian, here.  I am the Founder and CEO of Marie Mae Company, and we are super passionate about helping social entrepreneurs grow and create a positive impact in the world.  Over the next month, I will be sharing some of the struggles we’ve experienced and some behind the scenes insight into how we’ve grown Marie Mae from a struggling startup with only $6,000 in revenues in 2014 to multiple six-figures in revenue in 2016.  I share that not to brag, but to show you it’s possible.  If you learn how to work smarter in this amazing social enterprise space, you can grow your business and increase your impact.

Starting Tuesday, I will release a new post each week in June and July on our blog covering topics, such as how to build a brand story, how to price and position your products, how you can make production more efficient, how you build an engaged tribe, and how you can (and why you should) ensure your business is scalable.  I’ll be sharing all of the strategies and advice I’ve received and implemented over the last two years – sharing what worked, what didn’t, and what can help you work smarter to start seeing your business grow.

If you are not already on our list, signup here to receive the posts each week – and if you know any social entrepreneurs or business owners who would be interested in this series, please feel free to share this!  Looking forward to chatting with you next Tuesday!
